Tipsy Eagle
A hand-crafted beer aged in oaken red wine barrels. A real rarity in a limited bottling.
The Tipsy Eagle is a truly special beer. For 10 months it is aged in red-wine barrels to produce its impressive amber colour, its wild-fruity aroma and its unique opening. This beer will exercise your taste buds and stimulate your love of experiment.
The Ladenburger brewery stands for quality, perfection and uncompromisingness.
Swabia is our home. From here we only use the best ingredients.
Made from natural, local and sustainably sourced ingredients.
Deep in the cellar rests a large oak barrel; for many years it was a red-wine barrel. Now it contains a slowly-ageing, strongly-brewed Weizenbock. While ageing, the red tones of the wine and the earth tones of the oak merged in the beer as a warm amber. A charming and complex fruity-banana-beery aroma wafts beneath your nose, inviting you to drink. A first taste: many layered, soft and full-bodied and with a discrete suggestion of red wine; an incredible sensation that begs you to repeat it.
